Maggie and her two kids Imogen and Alexander with us at falls near their house in Keri-Keri, north island of NZ. Kids had great fun playing with these guys!
Maggie is my grandmother's cousin so quite a generation gap as Elsie turned 90 in March this year. Maggie and her husband Mike live next to the oldest buildings in NZ (from 1840s) so I jogged over to see them as well as a recreation of a Maori village complete with chief's hut, witchdoctor hut and place to keep kumara (sweet potatoes). Imogen is a very keen x-country runner so look out for her representing NZ in the future! Needless to say that Patrick took all four kids for a run through the native rainforest that surrounds where this photograph was taken. We are seated at the head of an impressive waterfall - one of only a few shots of all of us! Note that Alfie and Oscar are still wearing their Celtic football strip - don't go anywhere without it - at least the green and white hoops are easy to spot!
